"We are not planning to launch a new state in India yet," a report by The Guru, a South India website, quoted Kraften as saying. The company told the publication. This comes as reported by Indian players so far, that they cannot pre-register for PUBG: New State in India through the Google Play Store, although the list is visible. Crafton has said it wants it. The first is focused on the launch of PUBG Mobile India, which is believed to be the Indian version of PUBG Mobile, which has undergone several changes, presumably to please critics.
What is PUBG: new state?
PUBG: New State is a futuristic Battle Royal game from the Crafton set in 2051. Since this is a post-modern world, the game will include drones, dutiful bunkers, and futuristic gadgets that will change how Battle Royal is played right now. The game will likely introduce a new map called Troi, which will show the ruins of buildings in a world killed by chaos. “Using various weapons and tactics, 100 survivors will be faced until only one player or team is standing. With the ever shrinking blue zone, players must find weapons, vehicles and consumables to gain the upper hand. Only the strongest will emerge as "lone Survivors" in this epic. "PUBG: New State: 's application on the Google Play Store reads the details. It is said that iOS pre-registrations will begin soon.
PUBG Mobile vs India
The status quo of PUBG Mobile in India is not favorable. The government has repeatedly turned down requests and applications made by PUBG Corporation for the launch of PUBG Mobile India. After the issuance of the ban last year, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEAT) responded to an RTI application in December stating that the ministry does not approve to launch an app or game. The statement was a bit confusing as the ministry issued the ban. Later, it was reported that PUBG Corporation has not been able to schedule meetings with the government to discuss the matter, causing delays till the end of March.
The government has never spoken openly about the PUBG mobile ban since demonetisation. But Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar on Sunday said that PUBG is an example of a violent mobile game and the government would soon establish a center of excellence in gaming to teach courses that promote Indian cultural ethos in sports. The center will be set up later this year in collaboration with IIT Bombay, whose courses will start as soon as possible.
